You see, it's common that friends would chip in for parties, either order food and split the costs or do potluck. This time, it was a potluck - well at least that's how I know how it is.
Days before I messaged Myn about what JR and I need to bring. I felt bad that the party is getting closer that JR hasn't mentioned a thing to me about what we need to bring, thus me contacting Myn. She told me that everything's okay and we can just bring ice. I was like, you sure? I thought then baka iniisip nila since we're getting married eh they're being nice kase we're saving up.
Feeling tired and sleepy, I had to get up early on July 26 because JR and I are heading to Anaheim for the "Luau Themed Party". JR even told me I need to hurry up because people won't be able to drink without the ice we'll bring. Since I was still sleepy (and we didn't have time to drop by Starbucks) I slept the whole trip.

During the party, I realized how lucky we are to have friends like them. I mean planning a party itself is not easy considering how busy people's schedules are here in LA, but they managed to set aside one day of their weekend for the party. On our way home, I was telling JR that all the surprises I've had in my life were all because of him.
So again, to our friends, big thank you from JR and (especially) me! I feel so part of the group. I'm pretty sure I'll miss my friends in Pinas once I'm in LA for good, but you guys would definitely make it a lot easier for me. We love you! Tsup tsup, mwah mwah! :)
