Visiting Students and Co-Teachers

For 2 years in my career life, I have worked as a teacher. It was the most rewarding job I've had despite the minimum-wage income I had back then. It was a proof that God provides to those who seek him.

It was in 2006 when I started working in PCST. I remember at the time, I was anxious to teach as the only experience I had was Sunday School teaching kids at church! On my first year, I worked as a teacher assistant to a supervisor. Our class consists of 40 students, ages 6-8. The school I worked at is not the usual teacher-student discussion kind of set up. We follow the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum where students sit in their own cubicle, which we call "office" and work on their paces on their own. If a student has a question or needs guidance in a specific item, then they will raise their concerns to us :)

When I was teaching, I earned great friends that I still connect with upto now. One of them was Rhea whom I call Bokbok, while she calls me Poknat.

She is now based in Australia but went to the Philippines for vacation. It's just sayang because they won't make it to the wedding next month! Oh well!
