It was a rainy Sunday in July when I was worried that I might go to the bridal fair on my own. Our maid of honor had to cancel last minute because her kid is sick with fever. I called every friend that I know who might be available. And to tell you frankly, it made me miss JR even more.
Planning a wedding with your fiance in a different country can get a little stressful. I remember our wedding planner who is also my friend reminding me that I might get cranky at times.
So there, I decided I'd go for my last resort - my mom and sister. Ok, before you judge me on why they were my last option, let me tell you something about them. My mom at her age right now, tends to be cranky and impatient in waiting. My sister on the other hand is just plainly not up for stuff like this. So I just don't wanna drag people to my wedding planning who are not into it. I don't think that they don't support it, because they do. They're just not like me on this area.. anyway...
So finally, after lunch, we headed to "the venue".
Yes, I am also flaunting my bling, but this a view of entrance of where our big day will happen. You see, my main goal in coming to the fair was just to check if their rates have increased a lot vs. the last time we have inquired. Well, it did increase for about Php10,000, but thing is, they added a new item in the package. So I'd say it wasn't really an increase.
When I was speaking to the Sales Executive, "Chill" (yes, that's his name), he said something like "ok, here's something that will make you go crazy". And then he told me about the big discount. Which was really huge. So, I sent JR a text message and made an overseas call. We then agreed that we'll reserve our date and of course settle the fee.
So there, you go! Fernbrook Gardens in Alabang is already booked for #jrjanwedding on February 19, 2015.
